1 Thessalonians 5:18
"In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus."
Today we give thanks to the Lord for His sovereign care of the United States of America. Although our current circumstances are guarded, it is during times such as these that we take courage in the scripture and trust God for what we do not know.
Today we remember the group of Christian "Separatist" who left their church in England 400 years ago. These pilgrims endured their first winter on a strange new continent which took its toll in lives and human suffering. Through their steadfast endurance, they laid the spiritual foundation for this land. We give thanks to our Pilgrim forefathers and we pray for spiritual revival.
On this day of Thanksgiving, we thank the Lord for those who have faithfully prayed, promoted and gave their time and talent to the ministry of the Berean Beacon.
