In the year 1608 a group of Christian "Separatist" left their church in England. It had been nearly one hundred years since the start of the Reformation in Europe and the Church of England was still reluctant to shed the grave cloths of Roman Catholicism. These Pilgrims fled their native England in a quest to live far from Rome and from any Church that would not separate from all vestiges of pagan Catholicism. His pilgrams were ill prepared for their first harsh winter. Then in His great mercy, our Sovereign God chose to prosper His people with much abundance. By the following harvest, in the fall of 1621, these brave separatist gave thanks to All Mighty God and laid the spiritual foundation for a new nation.

Father, with utmost gravity, we seek Your mercy on our land. Our Nation has departed from the great convictions of your pilgrims. We ask You to strengthen what remains and for Your Sovereign grace to cause us to stand firm on your Word alone. May our Churches repent of their ecumenical embrace of the very Antichrist seated in Rome. May they turn from their open practice of idolatry having littered their congregations with images of the "Catholic Jesus" and the fleshy god’s of emotionalism cloaked as spirituality. May we turn from the heretical doctrines and manuscripts seeded by the  Roman Catholic Church.

As the old saying goes, “If you give them an inch, they’ll take a yard.” That is true in many areas, perhaps none more so than in the radical left’s never-ending list of demands. And the homosexual militants are leading the charge in this. There simply is no pleasing them – they are never satisfied.
The more you give them, the more they demand. The more you cave in to their demands and the more you seek to appease them, the more they will seek to walk right over you. I have been aware of this for decades now and have tried to warn those who think appeasement is the way to go in dealing with the homosexual juggernaut.
How does that expression go, sometimes attributed to Churchill? “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile—hoping it will eat him last.” It never works when you have activist groups with an insatiable lust for more and more power and control.
