Former New Zealand sex worker made a dame in Queen's honours list.

(To quote a former Prime Minister of Australia: "WELL MAY WE SAY, GOD SAVE THE QUEEN...")

We wonder, whether H.M. could not find anyone more deserving of being honoured?

Perhaps a Medical professional, who has saved the lives of thousands of children, or a Brave Firefighter, a Scientist who has discovered a cure for some disease etc.

Catherine Healy.

A former sex worker was made a dame in the Queen's Birthday honours list in New Zealand on Monday, in recognition of her services to the sex industry.

Catherine Healy was instrumental in bringing about New Zealand's 2003 decriminalising of sex work and the introduction of some of the most liberal prostitution laws in the world.
