There are many Christian Pastors, and "Experts on Islam" in a flurry and pointing to ISLAM as the Antichrist. These same "experts" fail to see the real issue of DECEPTION IN THE CHURCH, and much of this relates to the professing church's
rampant teaching of the Jesuit doctrine of FUTURISM. This was NEVER taught by
the REFORMERS or the PURITANS, OR the PROTESTANT CONFESSIONS.
 
The LONDON BAPTIST CONFESSION of 1689, proclaims that the Pope(s) of Rome is the antichrist, that MAN OF SIN, and SON OF PERDITION. that EXALTETH himself in the church AGAINST (and IN PLACE OF) CHRIST.

“The Lord Jesus Christ is the Head of the church, in whom, by the appointment of the Father, all power for the calling, institution, order or government of the church, is invested in a supreme and sovereign manner; neither can the Pope of Rome in any sense be head thereof, but is that antichrist, that man of sin, and son of perdition, that exalteth himself in the church against Christ, and all that is called God; whom the Lord shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.” (Ibid.)
