HYPOCRISY RUNS RIOT!
In its ongoing attempt to unite all of professing Christianity under the
papacy, the Vatican will issue a postage stamp honoring Martin Luther and the
Protestant Reformation. Luther, an Augustinian monk, was excommunicated in 1521
by Pope Leo X for publishing his 95 theses against the Catholic Church. Honoring
Luther and the Protestant Reformation is an unlikely choice because stamps
usually commemorate saints, such as Teresa of Calcutta, John Paul II, and Pope
John XXIII, who most recently were honored with stamps. Read more.HERE:
