Then what will you do? This is my advice, eat the meat and spit out the bones, but here it is. Instead of worrying about what the government is going to do next, why don't you have a one-person revival and get back on fire for Jesus Christ? Blow that dust off your bible, open it up and start reading it for yourself. Get excited about Jesus again, get excited about showing a lost person how to get saved. Get back to your first love. (The "New World Order" has been at work for a LONG TIME!)

OK, so the government is shutting down churches now, and everyone is is crying “foul!” but not me. I think it’s a good thing. Why? It’s good because in large crowds of people, airborne viruses can spread quickly and easily. If you truly had love for your neighbor, like the Bible says, you wouldn’t push back on the simple and practical request to refrain from gathering in large groups during the outbreak. But there’s a second reason I think it’s a good idea. You were probably just going through the motions at church anyway.
I think we’ve forgotten that born again Christians are the Church, it was never about the building. There were no church buildings in the First Century AD, where did they meet? They met at people’s homes, in small groups, and they made the word of God of primary importance. Many of them suffered persecution by Rome for doing so, and were put to death. It cost them something to meet to worship the Lord like that, and it caused them to walk very closely with Him.

His church has an estimated 1200 to 1300 members.

Rodney Howard-Browne, pastor of The River at Tampa Bay church in Florida, was caught on video telling members of his church to shake hands with people around them, admonishing those who were afraid by calling them pansies.

When I think of the term “snake oil salesman”, I think of end times Charismatic fakers like Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Jessie DuPlantis, and myriad others who ply the “gospel business” for profit. Massive Utah Earthquake Today Shook Salt Lake City Mormon Temple So Hard That The Angel Moroni Golden Idol Statue Dropped His Trumpet.

Even when he was only a candidate for president, Donald Trump hammered home the fact that the United States was too dependent on China in deals that were good for the Chinese and bad for America. He warned against being overly-dependent on the Communist regime for our medicines, as well as other goods and services. Candidate Trump also warned against the catastrophe that waited for a United States who had no control over their borders. In one fell swoop, the COVID-19 coronavirus proved Donald Trump to be right on all of it, and then some.
As I write this, there are roughly 5,359 cases of coronavirus in the United States, or 0.001% of the population infected. Compared to the vast majority of other countries that is a very low rate of infection. One reason for this is President Trump’s border policies for restricting travel and access of people we cannot verify as safe to enter our borders. Do God’s people really have faith, especially in times of crisis?

 In the Parable of the Persistent Widow in Luke 18:1-8 Jesus finishes with these words: “When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”. In the light of coronavirus, this is a very good question indeed. Certainly plenty of non-Christians are moving into full panic mode right now.

All the panic buying and hoarding is one clear example of this. Many are selfishly stockpiling food, toilet paper and other things, often leaving the elderly and others in the lurch. In times of crisis the real self tends to emerge. If you are basically selfish and self-centred, this sure will come out in a time like this.
Of course we expect non-Christians to act like non-Christians. But here I want to speak to fellow believers. And my thesis is simple: There is nothing like a major crisis to see which Christians really do trust the Lord fully and have their faith in him alone.
Do we have the peace of God which passes all understanding? Is our faith firmly anchored in Christ alone? Do we believe he is able to take care of his own? Or are we living and acting just like the pagans, full of fear and turmoil, thinking of how we can make it through the tough times – no matter how selfish we may have to be to endure? There are plenty of things we are called to reject, to want nothing to do with, and to even hate. Hate? You betcha? Let me start with just one crystal clear passage that too many believers have forgotten about – or have rejected. Romans 12:9 says this: “Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.”
